Wild Aces - Art Assets
Wild Aces is a side-scrolling action game set in a steampunk universe that I worked on with a group of friends. On the project I served many different roles over the 2 semesters, the first semester as character artist, and the second semester as level designer, environment artist, and world builder.
The art-style called for low poly models with exaggerated colors and features, as we were using the web-based Unity3D engine and because we wanted characters and objects that could stand out from far away. These are all the models that I did for the project.

In addition to making many of the art assets, I was also responsible for all of the level design on the train level, including:

- Creating an asset list for the artists to work off of

- Creating particle effects for the powerups and environment objects

- Creating a project hierarchy for better organization in the scene and project folders

- Designing the level layout and level flow

- Designing 3 new enemies introduced in the level

- Designing 2 new trap mechanics specific to this level

- Designing the midboss encounter, a reflex-intensive tunnel sequence

- Placing all art assets into the level and building the scene

- Placing enemy spawns and enemy collision paths

- Scripting animation onto moving environment object
